Low maintenance and ease of access to machinery utilising the proven longevity performance of a pair of 2016 Yanmar 6LY2A-STP Diesels producing 430hp per side and capable of achieving a top speed of 26 knots and cruise at 20 knots using 60litres per hour. Less than 200 hours are on these motors with periodical maintenance schedules completed regardless of hours. Shaft drive propulsion and full keels ensure a low maintenance simplified approach with protection.
Upon entering through one of three access doors the rear deck area enters into the saloon/galley area via large double doors. Panoramic windows complete an open airy feeling and all windows are covered with privacy fly screens. A large lounge is fitted to the port side facing the entertainment console. A reverse cycle air conditioner is for comfort. The galley to starboard and dinette catering for up to eight guests ensures a comfortable dining option. A BBQ on the back deck complements the full size oven cook top and the large double door upright fridge freezer for the comforts of home.
The companionway leading forward is offset to the port side and provides ample storage. The stall is to port side and includes a full size shower cubicle and a window to the outer deck space. Forward of this is a separate head with a small vanity basin and an electric Saniloo system. A half door further forward accesses the Port hold which includes a small upright freezer, washing machine, dryer and a macerator style toilet.
To starboard is the guest quarters with a queen size bunk. Access to the starboard hold is via a trap door and awaits a fit out, be it dive locker, workshop or just more storage. Hot water system and water filtration systems occupy a very small part of this space.
At the end of the companionway is the Master stateroom with a large full size, comfortable king island bed making access simple and easy. A large hanging space and screened windows on three sides complete this space.
All deck areas are protected safely by full covered sides with comfortable walk around access forward and aft. The bow and anchor station is easily accessed with further accessibility from the helm console via a forward ladder.
Access to the upper station area is via a stairwell to starboard from the rear deck. An expansive covered flybridge includes helm position,tender storage and additional entertainment area. The helm has a secure cover with simple lock-down. Complete navigation hardware and software provide a level of control and observance commensurate with a vessel of this caliber capable of undertaking extended coastal cruising.
Shiralee is a stable platform only provided by a multi hull base. A high tunnel and excellent underwater lines ensure comfort at rest and underway that can only be experienced in this style of boat and allow for extended passage around our coastline. Complete and recent out of water surveys have been completed by AMSA accredited designers and surveyors, with all recommendations completed. Whilst it does not replace a prospective purchasers survey report it will satisfy them that she has been well cared for during her whole tenure with the current owners and it will be obvious that maintenance has been upheld irrespective of costs.
